Maryanne walks

Not to be outdone - Maryanne also graduated last month....from crawling.  And is moving on to bigger and better things.  She seems to be enjoying her new found free freedom quite a lot.  Maryanne's first steps were taken on March 21st - a week after her first birthday.   And her first time walking was on May 1st  for Aunt Kate - who vehemently claims that she walked 30 steps for her.  :) 

Then, on May 7th - at Mud Island River Park - the walking was documented. 

 

It's been so cute watching these chubby little legs take wobbly steps and watch the light in those eyes and dimples in those cheeks.  Man oh man.  And Kate captured some of that during M's first week of walking....

happy to have cousins to cheer her on!

Grateful for her new skill, she's showing up her older siblings in the reverence department.  When the word "prayer" is said, this is her response.
