OH BOY! OH BOY!

We found out on July 17th that we are having a boy. I had a dream about 3 weeks before that we were having a boy - so it was literately a 'dream come true'. We are so happy about it. We spent 45 minutes looking at our son on a black & white screen play with his toes and wiggle and move around. It is such a miracle - this whole growing-a-baby-inside-of-you thing. I think it made it more real for both of us. I couldn't stop smiling. I think after finding out what you are having and see your perfect little one - it created a stronger bond and connection for me - that I think will just keep getting stronger. I still freak out sometimes that I'm going to be a real live MOM!

We took a spur of the moment trip to Gunpowder Falls on Saturday and went sailing for the first time.

CLIMBING WITH JER & SUZ


We went climbing in a really pretty area just outside of DC right next to the Potomac river. It was a beautiful day.

Patriotic Stewarts...


After we came home from climbing and showered - we went to a party at Jeremy's law firm. It's right on Capitol Hill so we ate scrumptious salmon and asparagus while watching the DC fireworks from the roof of this law firm. It was neat to be in the nation's capitol celebrating independence day!

Famiy Reunion

Some of Joey's relatives came to VA in June and we all went tubing down the Potomac River as a big happy family. It was really fun.

We finally reunited with Joey's parents!! We hadn't seen them in two years. Also - I met Aunt Karen. She's a hoot and a hanny. We had a fun day in D.C. - this is in front of the National Cathedral.
