Thanksgiving 2015

We wrote some thank you's to our neighbor Josh's grandma Katie for gifts she brought to us.  I was impressed with Lucy's turkey!  And I like her corn and Indians too. 

 Poor Lucy missed her Kindergarten Feast and program because she had pink eye.  So, this is my second time missing the Kindergarten Thanksgiving feast.  For Luke's I was pregnancy sick.  And this time Lucy had to stay home.  Joey came home for lunch and brought us our own Taco Bell feast and then Lucy did her program for us.  I wonder if I'll ever go to one of those.  :)

Thanksgiving morning Joey and I went for a beautiful bike ride around Herb Parson's Lake.  We almost ran over this little guy.

The food was delicious and we had a really good time.  Did you see all those smiling, happy, unsuspecting faces?  Well, every. single. one of those people got terribly sick a few days later.  We thought it was food poisioning but then we started giving it to people that weren't at Thanksgiving - so it was just a super contagious stomach virus that we all got that night. 

Friday morning we went to Priddy Farms to get our Christmas tree.  Look at all those cute cuzzies.

And Friday night we went on a triple date to the Memphis Escape Rooms.  It was a total blast and is now our new thing.  After this - Joey went and bought about 30 different combination locks and has been setting up escape rooms for our kids at home.  Basically - they lock you in this room and you get an hour to get out.  They have lots of puzzles and little riddles and stuff you have to solve -- each leading you to the next one and the next one until you finally escape.  The room we did has a 33% success rate.   It was so exciting and we escaped with 9 minutes left over.   We can't wait to go back and try some more of the rooms.
