It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Zoo Lights

Luke: "I want 2 robots"   Lucy: "I want a pink present"

Luke was very concerned about Lucy's request to Santa for a pink present.   He said, "But Lucy - what do you want INSIDE the present?"  "Nothing"  Exasperated "You want a pink present with nothing inside!!?? "   So, that should be easy huh?

Not pictured was The Avengers play put on that night.  I sat with Luke and felt like a teenage girl at a Beatles concert when they would start announcing who was going to come out.   The announcer would say something like "who is green! and wears torn clothes!...." and Luke and I would look at each other and start screaming and jumping and hugging. " the Hulk!! the Hulk!!"   They had Iron Man, the Hulk, Captain America and Thor.  It was totally cheesy but we loved it.

Zoo lights was a lot of fun, but I have to say that the best lights display I have ever seen is Temple Square.

Every story has a beginning...

Joey and Katie first met in Mr. Hawkes 3rd grade class at Valley Elementary. They became good friends in Jr. High and best friends in High School. Katie wrote to Joey on his mission in Tiajuana and Joey wrote to Katie later on her mission in Tokyo. Years later at the ripe old age of 25, these best friends finally fell in love... or maybe just realized they were already in love. They got married on January 22, 2004.

happy kids
