8 years

Joey and I celebrated 8 years of marriage.  We had  a fun day and especially enjoyed watching our wedding video and reliving that amazing day.  I always love to celebrate our marriage.  It reminds me how I used to dream of being married to Joey and makes me grateful for every moment I get with him.

Playing disc golf (Joey's new passion).  This was really me saying "I love you" cause I'm totally lame at it and pregnant and basically hate throwing frisbees (shhh don't tell Joey)

I made our original wedding cake (well, Star's original recipe- not quite as elegant ... but nice katie and joey action figures huh?) and you can't tell, but we are ceremoniously cutting the cake.  Following photos courtesy of Luke....

Happy Anniversary Joes.  I love ya sa much.

We love disc golf! We've got two sets of discs. And there's a course up on what used to be the UofU golf course. We'll have to play with you some time... (I'm not super great either, but I like it.)

As we told Joey that Saturday morning in December, "Yes!!!!!" and you can't be pregnant. But do stay that way for a while longer. We need more March birthdays.

I was so sad to hear that you were in Nashville and I was not. Plus a little jealous. :). I'm super happy to know that you are pregnant again!! Congrats on 8 fabulous years of marriage!

you guys are one of my all time favorite couples. you are so cool. when are you going to move to phoenix?

Every story has a beginning...

Joey and Katie first met in Mr. Hawkes 3rd grade class at Valley Elementary. They became good friends in Jr. High and best friends in High School. Katie wrote to Joey on his mission in Tiajuana and Joey wrote to Katie later on her mission in Tokyo. Years later at the ripe old age of 25, these best friends finally fell in love... or maybe just realized they were already in love. They got married on January 22, 2004.

happy kids
