Momma Songer

Joey started his externship in Manhattan at Sinai Hospital the day after New Years. It's a 3 week externship but he comes home on the weekends. Luke & I miss him SO, SO much. Luckily my mom flew out for a week and a half and my sister is flying in tonight... so I won't go crazy by myself with a brand new baby.

My mom bought us a cool new jogging stroller for Christmas and we loved taking walks in Maryland's rare January 70 degree weather -

Every story has a beginning...

Joey and Katie first met in Mr. Hawkes 3rd grade class at Valley Elementary. They became good friends in Jr. High and best friends in High School. Katie wrote to Joey on his mission in Tiajuana and Joey wrote to Katie later on her mission in Tokyo. Years later at the ripe old age of 25, these best friends finally fell in love... or maybe just realized they were already in love. They got married on January 22, 2004.
