Luke's Pokemon Pool Party

For Luke's half birthday in June - he wanted a Pokemon Pool Party.  And the Bradshers were nice enough to let us use their pool.   We had a special visitor from Texas - AIDEN!  The only bummer was that we missed the cousins being here because they were already in Utah.

I made a pokeball cake with a bunch of pokemon cupcakes.

Look at that cute little Oshawott and Meowth

Joey led a bunch of fun pool games

And he also locked up all of Luke's presents and the kids had to solve all sorts riddles and puzzles (escape room style) in order to get to Luke's presents.

Party guests were:

leaping lucy

hurling hawkins

bouncing birthday boy

jumping JJ

Acrobatic Aiden

And sought-after Sarah

Caleb came after work and threw around some kids

Eight and a half

So much fun to celebrate our boy in the chill month of June.

Oh wow! That cake was awesome!! Looks like it was such a fun party. We love that Lukey pants!

Every story has a beginning...

Joey and Katie first met in Mr. Hawkes 3rd grade class at Valley Elementary. They became good friends in Jr. High and best friends in High School. Katie wrote to Joey on his mission in Tiajuana and Joey wrote to Katie later on her mission in Tokyo. Years later at the ripe old age of 25, these best friends finally fell in love... or maybe just realized they were already in love. They got married on January 22, 2004.

happy kids
