Just for funzies

So - we sort of just bought a house. Well, not even sort of. Feeling a little crazy but hopefully it will be a good thing. We thought it would be an exciting project for us. Take a gander y'all.

BEFORE

AFTER

Check out the roof!! We just had the algae cleaned off and it looks like a new roof. And then of course painted the outside (painters, mind you, not us) It just got finished today! We'll post more pictures of the inside later. Oh yeah, and our awesome, totally radical, super coolio friends are going to live there and make it all the better. We're excited for them to live by us too!

You were just saying you couldn't get a loan for your home, and now you have two homes? Crazy! You guys are amazing to be able to buy an ugly house and turn it into a beauty. A-mazing.

It's been so long since I have looked at your blog (along with anyone else's) - I must say it's a relief to me to see that you have bad days, only because I always see you as someone who is so happy all the time, and I cannot imagine you ever getting mad. I'm glad to see you're normal - although very sorry to read about your bad time at Costco! Good luck with the new house!

Every story has a beginning...

Joey and Katie first met in Mr. Hawkes 3rd grade class at Valley Elementary. They became good friends in Jr. High and best friends in High School. Katie wrote to Joey on his mission in Tiajuana and Joey wrote to Katie later on her mission in Tokyo. Years later at the ripe old age of 25, these best friends finally fell in love... or maybe just realized they were already in love. They got married on January 22, 2004.

happy kids
