Easter & Utah

Easter before Easter

Traveling to Utah
hopped up on sugar

stuck in the Los Vegas Airport in the middle of the night for an extra 5 hours. Luke still talks about this. "Remember when we couldn't find our home? and we were stuck? And we couldn't find grandma and grandpa? And we were so sad?"

Truman and Luke in train and tractor heaven. Rebekah and I took them on the front runner. they are good buddies.

This is our girls night in the studio. Do we look like Michael Jackson? Cause the Wii told us we did.

Easter Egg hunt at the McKays

Beautiful Solenney's Baptism Day.

All 16 grandkids - my kids look the happiest.

One night Luke asked Grandpa to sing him a song about foxes. Grandpa sang a made up song about a family of foxes and said he tried to make it as boring as possible. It lasted like 15 minutes and Luke hadn't moved a muscle. Grandpa trailed off and was about to sneak out of the room when Luke whispered "and then what happened?"

Great post. Those airport pictures look a bit miserable, but look how much fun you had in Utah! Right?

Katie - I love that picture of your mom - and she definitely looks like Michael Jackson. And I love the pic of Lissa and Anderson climbing the tree to get those plastic eggs. It was great to see you! Come again, soon.

Cute hair Katie...you are looking good girl. And those moves would def give MJ a run for his money.

Every story has a beginning...

Joey and Katie first met in Mr. Hawkes 3rd grade class at Valley Elementary. They became good friends in Jr. High and best friends in High School. Katie wrote to Joey on his mission in Tiajuana and Joey wrote to Katie later on her mission in Tokyo. Years later at the ripe old age of 25, these best friends finally fell in love... or maybe just realized they were already in love. They got married on January 22, 2004.

happy kids
