The parTAY

December 20th

Guest included:
Clint, Sarah, Talmage, Cole, Jack & Trace Cresap
Josh, Amanda and Elle Beers
Aaron, Lezlie, Addie and Aiden Terry

Luke had a great time eating his overly healthy carrot cake, playing with his friends and opening all his presents. He was really happy the whole time but as soon as everyone left - he just fell apart and we put him straight to bed. I think he was exhausted from all the stimulation. But the next day he woke up and didn't even want breakfast - he just played and played with all his new toys.

We spent the holidays in Utah (pictures to come) and when we got back all his balloons were still floating (these balloons are champs - we might just be able to use them for Joey's birthday in February!) So, now he has added a new word to his vocabulary (of 6 words) - "BLOOON!" He really loves them. I think they might be the favorite of his birthday loot.

Love his curls!!! What a great day Lukey Luke. And Katie don't you know you're supposed to look drab after kids. You're absolutely glowing!

Glad you had pizza to offset that very healthy cake! I think I'll make myself some of that overly healthy vegetable cake right after I finish eating this pile of tootsie rolls. Looks like a good party. We love Luke! Happy One!

Looks like a great parTAY. And, hey, it's his party. He can cry if he wants to.

Oh Luke, do you wish your parents loved you enough to make you a sugar-filled cake? What kind of parents do you have? Ok, I'm kidding, but I'm never going to get tired of this. ;)

My favorite picture is Luke with frosting all over his face. What a cutie!

Every story has a beginning...

Joey and Katie first met in Mr. Hawkes 3rd grade class at Valley Elementary. They became good friends in Jr. High and best friends in High School. Katie wrote to Joey on his mission in Tiajuana and Joey wrote to Katie later on her mission in Tokyo. Years later at the ripe old age of 25, these best friends finally fell in love... or maybe just realized they were already in love. They got married on January 22, 2004.

happy kids
