all squnchified

Dear Luke - I like your new squnchy face. It's cute - especially when you close your eyes, squnch your nose and show off your gummy smile. (I've yet to capture that one). It's sure cute to me - but I have to tell you something. When people in the supermarket smile at you and you wrinkle your nose at them like they stink - it's a little embarrassing.

Luke and me - playing a lovely piano duet during music time.... and a little singing solo from Luke at the end. (sorry for the poor quality video - but it's still pretty cute)

Luke News
This just in:
8 1/2 month old Luke J. Hale is in the 50th percentile
for weight & height
but don't worry - he's scoring over 100 percentile
for the size of his enormous head.
We're so proud.

That means he is going to be super smart!!!! I love that face! I can relate with the socially awkward faces...Lucy likes to make one of the most annoying sounds on earth at the mall. Not when we are walking down the main hallways, but anytime I actually enter a store she starts this scream/moan thing that makes everyone stare...how embarassing Ü

You have us senior missionaries to thank for your ability to take videos with sound of our grandchildren and send them to us email. How else would Heavenly Father keep us out here in the mission field when we could be home hugging them. Hugging them next, please.

Oh my word! I love, love, love, how Luke improved that song! You can come perform for us anytime! I'll sell tickets and you could make a buck, then we'll get popcorn, and soda, maybe some "Luke" t-shirts . . .

Every story has a beginning...

Joey and Katie first met in Mr. Hawkes 3rd grade class at Valley Elementary. They became good friends in Jr. High and best friends in High School. Katie wrote to Joey on his mission in Tiajuana and Joey wrote to Katie later on her mission in Tokyo. Years later at the ripe old age of 25, these best friends finally fell in love... or maybe just realized they were already in love. They got married on January 22, 2004.

happy kids
