suburb sellouts

Our offer on a house in a suburb of Memphis got accepted today. Thank heavens for this buyers market cuz this poor dental student family didn't know how they were going to pay for closing costs, but it turns out we don't have to pay any. Here's a picture. Coming from Huntsville we feel like suburb sellouts in this house, but we love the neighborhood, lots of tots running amok. Also it's just 10 minutes from my work and even closer to church and the temple.

But that's not the house you showed us. Why? Congratulations, though. Especially on being so close to the temple.

Wow!!! I am so jealous! We are planning to squeeze into a smaller apartment for more pay...what were we thinking?!!! Just kidding. I really love the house. We'll have to break in your guest room, hint hint.

Every story has a beginning...

Joey and Katie first met in Mr. Hawkes 3rd grade class at Valley Elementary. They became good friends in Jr. High and best friends in High School. Katie wrote to Joey on his mission in Tiajuana and Joey wrote to Katie later on her mission in Tokyo. Years later at the ripe old age of 25, these best friends finally fell in love... or maybe just realized they were already in love. They got married on January 22, 2004.

happy kids
