LUKE - 2nd GRADE
Mrs. Eaton
Luke was in Rivercrest's first STEAM class. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) He loved it. It was really advanced and fun. He seemed to really like Mrs. Eaton too.

This was the year of Harry Potter for Luke. I remember one of the last days of school when they got to bring a beach towel and read outside - he finished the 4th book of Harry Potter. I think he started 5 and only got half-way through. It got too grown-up and he lost interest.
My other memory is that he kept saying something inappropriate in class and just couldn't stop saying it. I think Mrs. Eaton had to call me 3 times and she was so exasperated. Luke seemed sincerely sorry and then would just do it again... like he honestly couldn't help himself. (it was the ever popular dees nuts. smh) So embarrassing... and kinda funny. But his behavior was SO much better. He started to really love school. Building robots, refrigerators and creative board games - it kept his interest pretty well.
This was his 3-little-pigs project:

Maryanne - PRESCHOOL (3-4 yr old)
This was a fun preschool with my good friends as the teachers: Melissa Schwartz, Kate Wilson, Amanda Cremeans, Angi Danielson and April Jones.
We put together a book at the end of the year with every letter and a handprint or footprint.

And I think we were also building the clubhouse in the woods during this time. Let me see if I can find those pictures....
