birthday

Joey threw a party for me and invited 4 families over for dinner and cake. Isn't he so nice?

The day of my birthday I invited friends over for a movie day - which ended up being kids watching a movie - moms talking downstairs.

Also, tax free weekend happened to be the weekend before my birthday so Joey took me birthday shopping. I got some clothes and this new bedding. Our first ever real set with a bed skirt and shams. I feel pretty grown up now.

Oh how I miss that loft! And I'm TERRIBLY sorry that I haven't called you to say happy birthday. I must have thought about you a million times on the actual date, but that counts for a big fat zero since I never got around to calling. I'm glad Joe treated you right. (Like he's capable of anything else!) :)

Your Bday deserves to be tax free. Way to go!

Every story has a beginning...

Joey and Katie first met in Mr. Hawkes 3rd grade class at Valley Elementary. They became good friends in Jr. High and best friends in High School. Katie wrote to Joey on his mission in Tiajuana and Joey wrote to Katie later on her mission in Tokyo. Years later at the ripe old age of 25, these best friends finally fell in love... or maybe just realized they were already in love. They got married on January 22, 2004.

happy kids
