a winkly twinkly smile...
Grandparents. We are so happy our children have such neat ones. Grandpa & Grandma Hale spent the day with Lucy at the ranch while we did our narrows hike. They experienced her famous finger grab - where she takes you everywhere she wants to go. I think they ended up going on a few hikes of their own. Lucy tries to match Grandma Hale.

Every story has a beginning...
Joey and Katie first met in Mr. Hawkes 3rd grade class at Valley Elementary. They became good friends in Jr. High and best friends in High School. Katie wrote to Joey on his mission in Tiajuana and Joey wrote to Katie later on her mission in Tokyo. Years later at the ripe old age of 25, these best friends finally fell in love... or maybe just realized they were already in love. They got married on January 22, 2004.
happy kids

are you guys really related to Nathan Hale? That would be awesome if you were. I'm distantly related to John Hancock. He didn't have any descendants but his brother did (that's where I come from). Isn't it fun to famous relatives?
Cute video. I can't get over how MUCH joey looks like his mom!
I like how you said "winkly" - I think the song should be rewritten with that. I got a kick out of that video of your dad! "...and I'm riding my train-horse..." Good pics you were taking on that trip. Good kids. Good grandparents.
Can you see how Lucy and Grandma Hale are twinners?
Your kids have awesome grandparents. And I should know because my kids have some of the same awesome ones. Yep.
I don't know what a train horse is but can I have one, too?
