Oklahoma is more than OK

Wind sweepin' down the plain, surreys with fringe on top, corn as high as an elephant's eye - they've really got it all. After a long but worth it drive (8 hours) we arrived at destination : The Richins, Oklahoma City, OK.

Some of Okie's finest: Folks like these...

who take you to nice places like these:
(Oklahoma's Omniplex Science Museum)

Luke n' Lucy

We also visited the Oklahoma Bombing Memorial which was beautiful.

each of these seats is for someone who died. There were 168 total.

The tree in the background is called the survivor tree - it somehow survived the blast.

Bricktown canal evening walk. Oklahoma City is really quite charming.

Oh and this is Miss Mia. She's new. You'd like her.

Hey Luke how do you like those Richins?

You guys are so cool. I wish you all were closer so that we could do mini vacations to see each other. At least we all have common stomping grounds. Glad you had such a fun trip!

Every story has a beginning...

Joey and Katie first met in Mr. Hawkes 3rd grade class at Valley Elementary. They became good friends in Jr. High and best friends in High School. Katie wrote to Joey on his mission in Tiajuana and Joey wrote to Katie later on her mission in Tokyo. Years later at the ripe old age of 25, these best friends finally fell in love... or maybe just realized they were already in love. They got married on January 22, 2004.

happy kids
