Day 3 - hanging out with the fam

MY NEWEST NEPHEW!!!
This is Xing Lin who Mike & Lisa are adopting. They just gave him a new American name - Griffin. Lisa volunteered at an orphanage and just fell in love with him. He's 7 years old and he's such a sweetheart. I can see why Lisa's heart melted when she met him.

Day 4 - "One dream one shopping paradise"
Silk Street/Pearl Market is insane! People seriously grab you and pull you into their shop.
We all kinda went crazy buying Chinese trinkets.

Such a fun trip, though I would have to say that a tour through the dogfood factory would be a blast with you guys! I guess a trip to China would be even better. I love all the pics and it looks like Lukey was such a good a boy! Isabelle is here on my lap checking out all the shots of her ilttle world traveler.

What an amazing experience!!! I am so jealous of your adventure. Ziplining, African dancing, general spleandor...although I can't believe the nerve of that guy trying to put a cigarette in poor lukey's mouth. I must admit you and Luke together are quite the famous couple...I thought that was the norm with the photographers here in the states as well...just kidding. Love ya girlie.

Kate - It's your old pal Leslie. How fun to see your blog and especially your trip to China. That's so fun! Hope all is well.

Every story has a beginning...

Joey and Katie first met in Mr. Hawkes 3rd grade class at Valley Elementary. They became good friends in Jr. High and best friends in High School. Katie wrote to Joey on his mission in Tiajuana and Joey wrote to Katie later on her mission in Tokyo. Years later at the ripe old age of 25, these best friends finally fell in love... or maybe just realized they were already in love. They got married on January 22, 2004.

happy kids
