Disney World - Lucy's Top 10

1. Meeting the Princesses

2. Under the Sea
This is a new ride in New Fantasyland and it was really cool. You basically get to ride through the movie - you go "under water" and see all the mechanical fish, crabs, mermaids and witches singing and then there is a new room for every song.  Lucy loved it.

3.  Frozen Butterbeer from Hogsmeade
Butterbeer tastes like an ultra creamy sweet version of cream soda.  I liked it but couldn't drink much but Lucy loved it and drank the whole thing.

4. Penguin Prize
Luke wanted to play a shooting carnival game and the thing that won me over to let him do it is that he said he just really wanted to win Lucy a penguin.  So he did.

5.  Seuss Landing (Universal Studios)

6. Swimming with cousins

7. Characters

8. Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playground

 9. Shows

10. Hoola hoops and bubbles

phew, that was a detailed report. but good to have. thanks for hanging in there.  we loved that trip because of family and in spite of being sick.  disney - you make some mean magic.  (good mean)

you had such a good attitude about this trip, even though you were deathly ill. i'm so glad you did come. i would have missed you every day so, selfishly, i am so glad you were there. you really coulda ruined it for me had you not come. :)

Wow, your camera takes really nice pictures. Good job. Also, I was thoroughly entertained by Luke's faces outside the Under the Sea ride. So funny.

I love that Luke wanted to get Lucy a penguin--such a cute picture! It reminds me of one of our favorite children's books, Dogger, by Shirley Hughes.

I'm so in love with Lucy's butter-
beer picture!!!

Every story has a beginning...

Joey and Katie first met in Mr. Hawkes 3rd grade class at Valley Elementary. They became good friends in Jr. High and best friends in High School. Katie wrote to Joey on his mission in Tiajuana and Joey wrote to Katie later on her mission in Tokyo. Years later at the ripe old age of 25, these best friends finally fell in love... or maybe just realized they were already in love. They got married on January 22, 2004.

happy kids
